About

Beatriz de Uña Bóveda, born in Spain, is an architect, educator, and co-founder of the award-winning design collaborative Hey5.

She studied architecture in Spain, Australia, and Sweden. She graduated with honors from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Spain. Beatriz is a registered licensed architect in Europe.


She has been a guest critic at KTH since 2016 and has been a jury member at the Rhode Island School of Design, the City University of New York, Pratt Institute and Barnard College.

Beatriz has developed projects all around the world. Her work spans five continents and her projects and texts have been published worldwide in many specialized publications.  This website showcases a curated selection of projects which are representative of her architectural career.
